Why do you have to keep doing a retune? What is prompting you to do that?

What is it you have to retune, the TV when you switch to it or the box when you switch back?

What is prompting you to retune, lack of pictures or an advisory message? If the latter, you can usually ignore it and retune some time later as the changes are likely to be minor and could well be of no interest to you.

If it is lack of pictures then you have a signal problem which needs to be sorted out and you should not, in that circumstance, retune but find the cause.

The tv when I switch to it.Itook the lead out of the humax and connect to the tv and did a retune and the channels stayed on.

It’s only when I do a retune via the humax when I go back to the tv it says no channels available. So i keep having to retune.

    I hope this makes sense

I recon that the 2000t is going into low power standby, thus removing the RF signal from the TV.

Does the aerial connect to the 2000T then a patch lead from the T2 to the TV?

If so, look through the 2000T settings for ‘Low power standby’ or similar and turn it off.

You only have three years on me pal.

By your response, I assume that low power standby was the problem?
