InactiveCan anyone confirm whether the ITVX app (and other FreeView apps) will continue to work on the 2000T after 28th February?
I have seen recent messages from Humax stating that from the end of the month it ” will no longer support Humax T1000 set-top boxes. Any features that require an internet connection will no longer be accessible. This includes access to all apps….”
While this only suggests that the 1000T is affected (i.e. not the 2000T) elsewhere in this forum it says that “[November 2022] Humax confirmed that the only set-top box which will continue to support ITVX, is their Freeview Recorder/Android TV combo, HUMAX AURA”
This suggests that the 2000T will no longer support the ITVX app. Can anyone clarify and/or confirm this?

InactiveDid the ITVX app ever work on the 2000T?

InactiveI had assumed that it did (I don’t have a 2000T, so I cannot check). Looks as if I have asked the wrong question!
If the ITVX app has never worked on the 2000T, then presumably it never will…

In your question you mention the T1000 and also mention a 1000T. In the UK there is no such thing as a Humax 1000T. There is an Austalian Humax 1000T. Regarding the Humax 2000, in the UK Humax have made a 2000T and also made a T2000.
The 2000T’s fuller model name is HDR-2000T. The T2000’s fuller model name is DTR-T2000. The position of the T can be easily confused, so when in doubt it can help to also quote the prefix in the model name.
It is the DTR-T1000 that the announcement you quote concerns.
It is the DTR-T2000 that has ITVX and also is the more similar of the two 2000s to the DTR-T1000.
If you were to ask the question of whether ITVX will continue to work on the DTR-T2000 after 28th February then the answer to that question is:
“Yes ITVX will continue to work on the Youview DTR-T2000 after 28th February 2024”.
How long ITVX will still work on the DTR-T2000 after the 28th is not known yet.
