I bit the bullet and returned my 8 month old box to Humax. No amount of Betas or new software has fixed the not coming out of sleep, in fact it’s made it worse because it had started randomly rebooting.
I’m annoyed because we’ve lost all our recordings (which has mainly upset the kids because they’ve lost a load of films) but we had to do something.
I’ll keep you all posted as to the result, fingers crossed.
I’m not wanting to tempt fate but so far the new unit has come out of standby while recording on both of the times that we’ve tried to do it. Our old one never did it in over 7 months. Fingers crossed.
Not looking good. After a really positive start we were unable to turn the box on (while recording) on Thursday. Then, last night we turned the box on and there was no sound, we didn’t have to reboot but had to put it into standyby twice to rectify the issue.
