Remote very slow to react sometimes not at all. Sometimes for example on program guide it starts jumping all over for up to 30 secs at a time even with remote batteries removed during this type of response. I have formatted HD, done Factory reset, re-upload latest software replaced remote batteries, all to no avail.
Removing the very hard to detect film INSIDE the front panel over the channel display helps a lot.
Suggestion for the future Humax – Print a red line across all the films.
On a reread this soumds like a faulty remote – a sticky key or something spilt on it. However still check for the film. Nearly everyone misses it.
I opened my remote up and cleaned it and it was like a new remote afterwards. I couldn’t believe the difference. tinyurl.com/8qm2474
Also try scratching off the ‘paint’ on the inside of the flap that covers the sensor on the Foxsat.
