Is there a minimum internet connection speed to take advantage of all the catch up / on demand features of Freeview Play ?
Freeview state 2 Mbps in small print (below the on demand logo’s) here:
Although it states 2Mbps, living here deep in the sticks we only get 1.2 – 1.4Mbps and iPlayer works perfectly on a 48″ TV with the Humax. Haven’t tried the other Freeview catchup channels yet. I find Netflix works as well on my Amazon Fire TV stick and I’m looking forward to it being made available on the Humax sometime.
