ParticipantQuick question. For those using the beta firmware, on the day that CH4 joins the epg will V15 firmware users have to wait to view till the following day without initiating a Freesat tune ?

ModeratorI expect that to be the case, certainly during testing, channel additions were only added overnight.

ParticipantFirst massive test of the overnight channel updates tonight

Channel 708 Radio 7 name change to Radio 4 EX
So far not managed to get into ITV Player, met with an error each time. It’s not the network BBCi player works as expected.

InactiveGraham – did the 708 channel name change really happen?
I see from your quote that it did but I see no change (1.00.15) – could be because I am running raydon’s channel editor and it has overwritten it – but I had thought that it produced the banckup file before it did it’s updates and 708’s new name does not show in there I will delete the update file tonight to see if I pick up the change.
Ahhh penny has dropped – I have been doing some testing and multiple boots – that would rewrite the backup each time – it’s only the first backup file from booting each day that will be as per housekeeping.

InactiveBarry – Have posted a few feedbacks on the ITV player some weeks ago – Is there any point in retesting?

ModeratorLately I am not getting as many errors as originally, especially when using the arrows to check episodes etc. So it may be worth having another look, if only to satisfy yourself that ITV have improved it somewhat.
By all means submit more reports if you want to, the more the merrier.
