    Hello, can anyone help me? I’ve just bought this box 2nx hand and can’t figure out how to remove the subtitles?

    You do not mention the PVR model or posted in the Model forum.

    Does the remote not have a button marked “SUB”?

    If I am remembering correctly, slide down the cover on the remote and its the button that looks like a rectangle with a line at the bottom.

    First button second row down.

    There is no cover on the remote control

    The grey part, below the volume and channel buttons, is a slider.

    Hello again. That button turns subtitles off but as soon as I change channel, turn TV off then on etc they are back on. It’s really annoying

    In that case you need to go into the settings menu and disable them from there.

    There are no ‘settings’ as such, can’t find an option for subtitles anywhere within the menu options ????

    Try MENU button>Preferences>Language Setting>Subtitle

    Martin is correct, the setting you need to change is in the language sub category.

    Thank you both, I have now rectified it (I hope). I did try that before but seems to have reverted
