Can you update softwear without an internet connection?

Sorry it’s a Humax pvr HDR7510T I just bought it recently for my 82 year old Mum as she has cancer and she needs a lot of rest and watches things she records. She has no internet. Thanks for your help in advance.
Latest software for that unit is version 1.08.29 see:

From the Humax FAQ’s on subject item:
• Please go Menu-Settings-Power Management and see if Automatic Power Down is On. If it’s ‘On’ and HDR-7500T is left with no control for 3 hours, it is set to turn off itself to save energy.
