I am located in Normandy, France.

I have an old Humax box that has worked fine until recently…

It now has the following faults.

1 It will not accept my postcode

2 It will not find a signal on the Freesat Tune.

3 It will find a signal on the manual tune, but only shows American programmes in English.

I have double checked all the connections.

My questions :-

1 if I fitted a new Hard drive will this fix the problems ?

2 Is there a serial/model number on the rear ?

3 I don’t need to increase the recording capacity, but which is the best hard drive to fit ?

4 Is it difficult to fit a hard drive, if that is the problem ?
