Hi all,
Had a DTR-T1010 for over a year now but this week it wouldn’t switch on. The power button on the remote and on the unit wouldn’t work. I tried to do a maintenance mode recovery but nothing happened. I removed all connections to the unit and unplugged from the mains and left it overnight, in the morning it was the same situation. The only other thing I noticed was that the ethernet port lights were both constantly on (never blinking). Has anyone ever encountered this before?
This is quite common with this model. I have had some success by replacing several capacitors on the mainboard. But some seem to develop other firmware problems, so that they still don’t work correctly after the initial problem is fixed.
