I understand the Aura remote is Bluetooth, which should mean it does not to be pointed at the box like an IR remote, however I find both the range (distance) of use and direction to be very hit and miss
Does anyone else find this to be the case? – Is there a solution?
The remote control is Bluetooth and IR, or just IR, depending on whether it is paired with the aura.
In Bluetooth mode, the LED is Green, and in IR mode, the LED is Red.
I find that in Bluetooth mode, you can point it anywhere, and you can cover it up, and it will still work. IR mode is still very good, and the signal will often bounce off walls, ceilings, and doors.
No remote issues here either.
I do wish however that it wasn’t a noisy clicky remote and was silent like the HDR one.
