Hi all. When I record a program and power off! just a red circle. I get no imformation on the front of the box telling me it is recording.
When you are recording in standby, the ring will be amber/orange, but there will be a “REC” symbol on the front panel display. If you are using low power standby, the “REC” will not be visible, and in normal standby it will be barely visible unless you get close up.
There are ways to improve this situation, but these involve installing the custom firmware, or removing the orange filter from the front panel display.
As Brian says there is an icon on the Humax display, but it is very small, see No 9 below :-
