Has anyone else experienced a major increase in their Broadband usage since installing an HDR1000s?
There appears to be a demand of over 1GB a day for me without any catch up. It would blow any 20GB cap so lucky on an unlimited terrific.
The box connects the net to download Showcase and On Demand Player info, I wouldnt of thought that would be anything that large though.
I don’t suppose you have the Freesat app paired with your box do you?
I was on a 20G tariff when I got a HB1000s. I didn’t notice a marked increase in my usage.

Yes I do have the Freesat app paired but I’m not using it. Having pulled the plug yesterday though there still appears to be high usage so I don’t think it’s the Humax box after all.
