InactiveI’m really sorry if this has already been covered on here, but i have just purchased the the Humax PVR 9300T 500GB.
It is an ex-display model and it arrived yesterday.
I plugged it in, played about with it, set recordings, watched recordings and freeview(wanted to put it through it’s paces)all was great.
Today i used it and within less than a minute, the remote didn’t work and neither did the buttons on the box itself. I had to switch it off and back on via the button on the back, only for it to re-appear with pink screen and all the functions to freeze again.
I searched the internet and solved the pink screen issue…..for now anyway….but reading other forums with people that have had the same issues it would seem it could possibly be down to updates?
I have checked the box info and the last update was Dec 2008 UPTTF 1.00.15 from what i remember. I saw that it should be UPTTF 1.00.26?
Question is……where can i find this to download to make my recorder work better? Hopefully my lead should be here tomorrow to connect to laptop. I noticed that the last on air update was months ago, so have missed that!
If anybody could help me, it would be much appreciated.
I don’t want to have to send it back as i really do like it, when working correctly.

I agree that updating the software is a good first step. The software is at http://beta.humaxonline.co.uk/freeview-sd. You may find flash9200 the easiest tool to install the software see http://www.tynecomp.co.uk/flash9200.html
