Activated ftp in the setting so I can watch recorded programs on other tvs in the house. Want it to be as easy as possible for the other half. Have samsung tvs and android boxes. What’s the best way to do it. What programs to use etc?

Tried vlc on nvidia shield and although it sees the initial folders for the aura it won’t load whats in them. However if I use something like file commander it works without issue.
