    Hi

    My name is Mike and I live in SW France up until last week had used Sky Box to get English T.V. Then Changed to Humax FoxsatHD1000 1TB freesat +PVR. It worked ok for a week.Then remote and the few buttons on front of box ceased working.Only way to get it to work is to turn it off and on again at the mains.But this only works for a few minutes.I read some topics on the site and reset the box to factory settings and went through the re install set up, to no avail. I’m no techie so can anyone help. Thanks

    Can you confirm which freesat PVR you have, Foxsat HDR or HDR 1000S with freetime.

    Mike – you could try this from our FAQ’s the next time it happens

    rather then mains recycling, the bit in bold is important.

    You could also try a HDD clean up which I know has helped one member – have not had any further feedback from them so no idea if it helped permanently.

    Ignoring the fact that the unit appears unresponsive.

    Just press 2580 on the remote keypad.

    Hi

    While I was waiting for reply the t.v. screen went dark and a box appeared saying that I should reformatt the hard drive,I managed to do this and the problem appears to have gone.
