I have a PVR-4000T, which I purchased recently. I also have a PVR-9300T, which is still connected into my system.
About 2 or 3 months ago, our Sony Telly died on us, so, as a temp measure, I connected in a Panasonic TV. At first, I thought that the 9300-T was also on its last legs until I realised that the TV was trying to control it. A quick visit to the TV settings soon sorted that.
When we got the replacement TV, we decided to upgrade on the PVR.
