    Hi,

    A button on our (original) 1100S remote appears to be conflicting with a function on a new JVC TV. It appears to be activating the screen off function!!

    Have tried to change the remote frequency. The only instructions I can find suggest pressing red+AD then home & desired code 1-6.

    This doesn’t work, there’s no LED as described in the instructions and the TV didn’t go off. Plus a test with a second 1100S indicates the remote hasn’t changed frequency.

    Anyone else experienced a tv conflict or successfully changed remote code?

    Alternatively, is a new universal remote likely to solve the issue?

    The red+AD is for ARRIS boxes but you have a Humax box.

    Humax did respond since my post with the same advice. I’ve tried each of the 6 codes. All with the same result as follows

    power up

    Home

    On demand

    BBC iplayer

    Then black screen

    Pressing exit on humax remote restores the sound but no picture

    To get picture back the TV needs to be turned off and on again.

    I’m now wondering if there’s a software issue with the on demand function??
