Hi, cant seem to get my box to preconise a second cable. I have had my 1000s a couple of years but only running on one cable. So i got a new dish & 6 output LNB for future use. I have only run 2 coaxes from the dish to the free sat box & all looked good on signal 1 but nothing on signal 2. Then i remembered that 2 will only show when in use. So started recording BBC1 HD & IVT HD. This brought up the second signal, but it says only one sat cable connected, yet shows a signal, but no sign of good & a tick. I have swapped the cables over at both ends & still get only one cable connected. Could it be the HDR-1000S ??? Thanks for any help.
To recheck the feeds – firstly do a Freesat tune (or a reset to default).
The number is remembers from the last of those done ONLY.

No but whatever you select you will loose recording schedule.
A freesat tune is found in: Home > settings > right ? Freesat channels > search.
Poor design, nobody sees the right with more through it.

No only the recording schedule so photograph the schedule first.
You cannot re-tune if box is recording or about to start a recording.
Home settings Right 3 times to More and press OK if not recording you should fimd the Freesat tune option.
Ah! well done guys. A system reset went off & found the second sat cable after i re-stripped the ends twice as the info i was getting off the 1000S was a bit misleading. But all working great now. Thanks:)
