InactiveHi each,
Machine has just suddenly decided not to work on HDMI. SCART is OK
Even the the item for setting 1080i, 1080p is greyed out!
Any ideas.
Graham.

ParticipantHi Welcome to the forum.
Try the following
1 Push the hdmi plugs firmly in to the sockets
2 Pull the power pluh out of the back for 10-15 mins
3 Try a different hdmi cable.
If the above don’t work try a reset to factory defaults (Make a note of your recording schedule first).

InactiveHi Graham,
I believe you answered this before on DS forum!
I guess I should have included;
I removed the HDMI cable from the Humax and plugged it into my Blu-Ray, all ok so not cable or TV!
As mentioned in my earlier post, the option for setting the resolution during setup was greyed out.
Thanks,
Graham

Did none of the options help ?

InactiveYes Graham, tried all your options.
I wonder if it’s worth trying to load the firmware again if that’s possible?

InactiveI would still try a different cable (with the scart removed, cables changed in standby) – the handshaking could well be different with a blue-ray player. The greyed out option seem to indicate that the unit thinks none of the options are supported.
If not try a factory reset.

InactiveHi REPASSAC,

Without some means of being able to load an older version, you won’t be able to re-initiate a OTA update. If the TV is on and the right HDMI input selected do you get the freesat launch screen or nothing at all (this doesn’t require HDCP handshaking) ?
Can you try same using another TV ?

InactiveHave tried PVR on another TV/Cable combination, no luck there.
“If the TV is on and the right HDMI input selected do you get the freesat launch screen or nothing at all” nothing at all!

Hi REPASSAC,

“Other Humax’s” As a last shot I would try one of them.
If not as Graham thinks – it’s bust. First one with this problem seen on three main forums I think.
