It shows 2 tuners, one with ticks the other without. I can connect each of my input cables to input1 and both work. I can connect each of my input cables to input2 and neither work. My unit is less than 12 monthe old (from Richer). I guess its broken, who should I contact re repair? July 16, 2014 at 8:09 am #53503 AnonymousInactive Ummm Richer July 16, 2014 at 8:11 am #53504 AnonymousInactive You agree its broken then (no factory reset type procedure to fix it)?. I did contact Richer, they told me that Humax prefer to handle repairs directly and I should contact Humax! July 16, 2014 at 8:21 am #53505 AnonymousInactive It appears that way and think Richer have got it wrong, your warranty contract is with them for 12 months. I also believe Humax will change it out but for a used working model…or so I understand. July 16, 2014 at 8:44 am #53506 AnonymousInactive How many cables does it say are connected on screen? It only shows signal strength and qaulity with ticks on active tuners that are currently being used at that particular time. Can you record a channel and then watch or record another? Press record, change to another channel and then go to the signal menu, are both tuners now showing as active? July 16, 2014 at 12:06 pm #53507 AnonymousInactive Connected with 1cable. I can record and change channel. Tuner one has ticks, tuner 2 is greyed out without ticks. July 16, 2014 at 1:10 pm #53508 AnonymousInactive Patient – 1 hour ago » Connected with 1cable. I can record and change channel. Tuner one has ticks, tuner 2 is greyed out without ticks. You need to reset to Factory Default and wait for the on-screen message which will confirm the number of cables. The number of cables at initial setup is remembered by the unit and will not change without a factory reset. July 17, 2014 at 3:57 pm #53509 AnonymousInactive That fixed it. Thanks.
