I have a 9 year old HDR-FOX T2/GB (sw rev a7.33)
Was working perfectly until the last few days – but now remote has no effect on it
Red PVR light flickers when buttons pressed
Have changed batteries, have tested I can see light coming from remote by using phone camera
yesterday, I did shift the unit and somehow it worked again.
Now doesn’t work, despite more shifting.
Any clues please?

Does the HDR-FOX T2 respond to the buttons on the front of the PVR itself?
Sorry Martin, I forgot to tag my message for replies. yes the HDR-FOX T2 responds to the buttons on the front of the PVR itself?
Just gone back and tried the pressing 0 and OK for 5 seconds trick find online. Didn’t get the Red PVR light but now works.
But will have to confess that this is yet another set of batteries so cannot be sure it wasn’t just that.
