Within the last three days this problem has occurred. When I first switch on my Humax HDR2000T and waited for the disc to reach its speed I have tried pressing the appropriate button I cannot get the Humax to show the recorded programmes the Schedule or the TV guide. Eventually after a long time of coaxing it condescends to show the required screen. Prior to this problem the machine has performed faultlessly since the day of purchase. Can anyone suggest why this this is happening and more importantly how I can fix it. My many thanks in advance.
Try unplugging the unit, wait a few minutes and then boot up the box – see how that goes. It works for me when my 2000T occasionally becomes unresponsive. These boxes are actually mini computers these days and we all know how temperamental they can be.
