Hi. I am new to this forum .I hope that someone can help .I have a Humax HDR-1800T

I can switch it on/off using the remote or the front panel, but other than that all other buttons on the remote do nothing . Batteries have been replaced and I have tried removing the power overnight, but still nothing. Any help greatly appreciated

When you switch on, do you get anything on the TV screen?

Hello Martin, Many thanks for coming back to me. I also have a Humax Foxsat HDR and the original problem was either remote could control the unit and visa versa. I solved this by changing the code on the Foxsat.

I completely switched off the HDR-1800T overnight and although I can power the unit on and change channels using the front panel, the remote does nothing. New batteries did nothing. Can only think that the HDR-1800T

remote has given up the ghost or I have a problem with the HDMI lead.

I appear to be going round in circles with this one.
