    Hi,

    Can anyone help a newbie with a new HDR 1000S .

    I am trying to connect to my wi-fi Hub (BT Homemhub 3) using a TP-LINK150Mbps Wireless N USB adapter.

    So far, no joy , but the connection using ethernet cable works OK but the homehub is in another room to the tv so thr ethernet option is not really viable.

    Has any one out there used the TP-LINK adapter successfully or do I need th buy the Humax dongle?

    Aby help will be much appreciated.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

    This might be of little help but:

    Have no experience with the TP-Link item you refer to, however, as well as the Humax dongle which obviouosly works I have a Edimax EW-771 UMn dongle and that one also works – Caveat be aware that some users have had problems with Edimax dongles (on T2 products) with win 8 logo on the box.
