Over the last few weeks, the EPG has been very sluggish. My signal and quality is 95 to 100%

My software is up to date.

Recording programs takes a long time to accept. Marking a program reminder takes a while too.

Main issue is the delay in response when using the EPG as it takes a while to catch up.

Could cabling issues affect the response?

No issues with signal strength or picture quality.

    Just the delay is annoying

When’s the last time it was powered off from the mains? A proper cold reboot (standby, wait for disk to stop, pull from mains) every now and again quite often helps.

Failing that a factory/default reset, no format, you will lose you scheduled list of programmes to record so take a note or picture with camera phone etc. first.

Let us know how you got on and whether the above has sorted it.

I powered it down completely a couple of days ago to no avail.

Maybe will try the reset later and let you know……….

I have now done a factory reset.

I’ve had the box for about a year now.

epg seems to be back up to speed, thanks very much, Damian

Took a few minutes to add my favourite channels and add my recording schedule back in but I am sure it will be worth it.
