I bought my HDR 1000S in March this year and I am having problems with some recorded programs missing the start or worse the end.I have checked the settings and the Start/end padding times are set to auto. These can be changed to a fixed amount of minutes, but I am assuming that changing these impacts on recording programs starting before or after.

Also, I am getting the odd program part recorded i.e. Eggheads (part recorded – 8 mins only) and today, Tour de France (part recorded 38 mins of 240 mins).

Has any one got any ideas? Thanks
