    I have just purchased a FVP-4000T to replace my HDR-Fox T2 and am still trying to work my way around the differences. When watching TV via the 4000T is there any way of stopping it from intermittently displaying a prompt to switch to HD in the top left hand corner of the picture? I find it really annoying.

    Thanks for the link BB. The TV is HD , the box is HD so I suppose I really should be watching in HD. :-)

    I find it annoying too when watching BBC news as my local news is not available in HD so I have emailed humax and asked for an option to turn it off in the next firmware.
