I have the H3 set top box that streams pictures from the FVP 4000-T but the forward, rewind and pause are not working on it . Does anyone know why please ? If they can help me I’d be most grateful.

With apologises for the delay in response.

Clarification needed, do you actually mean pictures or recordings?

    If recordings then…

I’ve just tested streaming from a FVP 4000T and 5000T and the ‘skip’ buttons appear to be working, amount of skip depends on what you are streaming, ie SD/HD and the duration of the recording.

You can either use the dedicated buttons on the H3 remote or use the on screen graphic, highlight the direction you want to skip and press OK.

Try a reset of the H3?

Sorry I meant the I tried it on a TV programme in HD I’ll try SD if not as you say it’ll likely be a reset. The problem was I think I had it and just after I had it I never put it in straight away as I was having work done where the TV its attached to is. So I didn’t try it then. I hate reseting these things after I entered all the passwords etc ;-) My own fault I should reset them before I start . Never Mind!

Barry, do you have any problems with pressing the FF button multiple times when viewing a recording on the 5000 ? I found with the 4000 that playback often just stops.

Not as yet, I’ll carry out some more tests later.
