I have just dug out an H3 Espresso. It is at software level 1.27.21, which I am certain is back level. I tried to update it but it does not connect to the update server.
Does anyone have any ideas whether this is the latest version?
And if it isn’t, how can I update it?
1.31.20 is the version on mine, and no update available when checking for latest.
• Is unit definitely connected to internet.
• Contact Humax Support see if they can provide you software and instructions for update via usb.
I have just got my H3 out of hibernation, and that had Software version 1.24.00 installed. I connected to Wi-Fi, and checked for new software, and was able to download, and install version 1.31.20, which as far as I know, is the latest version.
Thanks for the update – I’ll try again. Perhaps my whinging at Humax support that I couldn’t download the software had an effect …
I eventually got an “Extend HDMI over Ethernet cable” as described in my other post. It works very well and has an IR receiver in the distant room which picks up the remote control signals and sends them to the Humax in the other room.
