I reconnected my second foxsat hdr to the satellite after a few years using it only for playing back recordings on an external hard drive and am surprised that it’s got C4HD but doesn’t have many other channels it used to have like bbc2HD. I thought channel 4 were no longer broadcasting to Freesat in hd, how is this possible? Not tried recording yet.
CH4HD is still broadcasting but it is no longer on the freesat EPG.
Assuming you left the unit in standby it should have updated the EPG at 03:00 and all will be as it should be.
‘As it should be’meaning C4HD will disappear again and other channels come back?
Yes. CH4HD will be available on non-freesat mode.
