I think if Jon Bentley’s mum had been wearing skimpy clothes it wouldn’t have done anyone any good!

I noticed that the Gadgetshow feature was filmed in January (before the ‘portal’ release) so they must have used beta firmware to demonstate the portal (with skyplayer) and SMS searching, neither of which were available – Skyplayer still isn’t.
I notice no reference was made to the fact that is no “Five” on Freeview HD. They declined their allocated slot and opted to go subsciption instead therby removing the HD option from many older people who can’t afford subsciption service.
