InactiveHi all
So my new 5000T has an odd quirk in that whenever it turns back on from standby the volume is set to zero again, when I would expect it to remember the last setting. This is a pain as the audio outputs via RCA to an external amp which I control (along with the box) using a harmony remote.
Is this standard behaviour? What am I missing?
Thanks

ParticipantHi welcome to our forum. Do you have a power on timer set ?

InactiveHi Graham. Thanks for the speedy response.
Yes, as I understood that power on at 0700 and off at 0715 (or similar, I’m away from the box right now) helped keep the EPG up to date.

The power on timer has a setting for the box volume. If you haven’t set it to the same figure as you use for normal volume it will over-ride it.
Normally it’s best to keep the box volume at max and set the box HDMI digital audio out to stereo to avoid issues with HD channel audio.

InactiveGood grief. Can’t believe I missed that in the settings. All done.
Thanks again.

InactiveI have set a power on timer for 8.00-08.15 but the start time keeps re-setting itself to 0.00. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
EDIT: Tried setting it for 7.00-7.15 and it seems to have saved OK. Fingers crossed.

A known issue reported during testing 8 and 9 are the problematic numbers.
