hi guys we have a FVP-4000T which wont power up, I have been reading on here about some people having some success heating the PCB in oven, I’m concerned that there could be some smells and due to this I don’t think the Mrs will be happy with me doing this, so I have also seen some members have used hot air gun which I could try but have seen there is possibility of the components getting blown off in the process, I have a very small gas soldering iron with hot air attachment which I’m considering trying but where do I start! is there any suspect areas of the board that you would recommend I try first, I have searched for circuit diagram but not as yet found one I have also tried following the PCB tracks but there difficult to see.

Hi, did you have any luck getting your unit going again?
