Sorry, I’ve searched but can’t find the settings suggested in this forum some time ago. Today Filezilla won’t / can’t connect to my HDR 500 although it did a few weeks ago. The Hummy will access the i-player so the cabling, connections etc must be OK so I’m wondering what settings I should have in Filezilla – any suggestions please?
On the filezilla connect window
host: the IP address of your HDR
port: leave blank
protocol: FTP
encryption: plain FTP
logon type : normal
user: HumaxFTP
password: whatever you set, the default is 0000
click connect, should work. Check the dialogue window at the top of the filezilla screen to see what happens

Thanks, Dino. The Humax had gone back to DHCP when I had a manual setting in before – all well now. Thanks again.
