I can use Filezilla to ftp to my box no problem. What I am trying to do is copy some old DVD’s that I have ripped to the Aura and then watch them using the Aura.
Is this possible?
I have tried coping the mp4 and mkv files into Movies and Downloads directory but I can’t seem to work out how to access them. I tried Kodi but that shows the directories but nothing in them.
Any ideas or am I trying to do something that isn’t possible.

Files should be placed in the Movies directory not the Download one. The Movies directory visible to ftp is on the “Internal HDD” not “Main storage”. Try looking in “Internal HDD/Movies” for your mp4 and mkv files. I’m sure Kodi should be able to do that, if not try VLC.

Thanks very much for that. VLC works perfectly, it can see both the Download and Movie folders.
Can’t seem to get Kodi to find the folders but that’s not an issue as VLC works.
