Anyone tried playback from a USB stick?

Can it be formatted NTFS. What formats work well. And will it suffer the same movie aspect ratio issues I get a while ago when connecting a drive (most got stretched to the wrong shape)?

    Q1 – Yes. Q2 Also Fat32. Aspect ratios may be a problem.

Formatted it FAT32 to get past 4GB limit.

Played 3 out of the 4 movies I tried – didnt like the .mkv

Aspect was all fine must have liked the files :)

FAT32 has a filesize limit of one byte less than 4GB. To use large files EXT2, EXT3 or NTFS is required. Anyone know if exFAT is supported ?

I found that when I plugged in my USB it did not recognise a few of the media files, flv, mkV and a few mpg files. So I used my pc and converted them all to mp4 and they now work fine.
