Do Freesat HDDs have the capacity to be used with Freeview as well, maybe if the settings are changed?
There is a Freesat/Freeview threade but it is a few yearsw old and the internals may have changed.

There is a Freesat/Freeview threade but it is a few yearsw old and the internals may have changed.
I don’t know of any Humax PVRs that have that capability probably because the tuning hardware is completely different.
Many thanks for your helpful reply. I had hoped that Humax would have put two chips in to save on manufacturing costs and marketed them separately with the appropriate chip switched on – rather than run two different product factory lines.
