ive downloaded Raydons latest version of his custom firmware and loaded onto a 32GB memory stick which has been fomatted to fat32 ive tried installing it on my foxsat hdr but it starts to download but stays on 0% for ages can anyone help?

Indeed this is a problem suffered with lots of USB sticks; the HDR is rather picky. See here for “how to”:
Thanks for your reply ive just tried this again but unfortunately its seams that the box cant read the stick now as just boots and switches to the previously viewed channel instead.
Hmm that doesn’t sound right! Perhaps the following helps; was prior to raydon’s write-up, but this helped me set-up a USB stick which worked:
