    Hi,

    I’m new to the forum and Freesat, been paying over the top to Sky for years but just had an enlightenment.

    I have a Foxsat HDR 1Tb box and I’m trying to use the remote to control a Yamaha DSP E800 sound processor. I’ve tried all the codes in the Huamx book and none work, can I teach the Humax remote from the Yamaha remote. I know this is possible with some makes and models of remote. Alternatively, are there any other codes available for Yamaha. I’ve trawled the web and the Yamaha website, but nothing as yet.

    Hi welcome to the forum. Sorry the supplied remote doesn’t have a learning mode. Your best bet is one from the Harmony Remote Range made Logitech.

    I agree with Graham, I use a Harmony remote with various devices including the Foxsat HDR and a Yamaha Amp.
