Find by genre misses some channels

I have a new HDR-FOX T2 with the latest firmware.

Yesterday I noticed that using find by genre sport misses programmes from ESPN (I am a subscriber) and BBC (for example, the snooker). These are correctly tagged as “sport” if you select them and press info – it seems more like a problem with not finding results on some channels.

I confirmed this wasn’t confined to sports genre – it also failed on movies, with some channels not included.

However, today this is working correctly. Why is this? My reception on some muxes is a little bit poor, but the EPG seems to always be displayed correctly, with no gaps – so all programme and metadata seems to be present.

Ignore me thought you were talking about the channel genre options on the epg. Off to have a play as I have never used the option.

Well I just tried it using sport on a HD FOX T2 and found 400 entries in the epg including the Snooker and ESPN.

How many does your box find at the present time ?
