The fan on my HDR 1010s comes on after several minutes of viewing and then doesnt seem to go turn again, even if I go into standby. I think it may do eventually, but last night it hadnt after 10 mins so I pulled the power (it was in standby)

I’ve moved the box so it now gets lots of ventilation (it was in a cabinet)

I’m assuming its the fan and not a HDD about to fail on me.

The device doesnt feel hot

It has the latest (?) .59 firmware

Is this normal?
