InactiveBeen using 2000T for a little over a year. In the last week or so it’s failed to record long-standing schedules like Match of the Day showing “Unable to track programme ” message. I’ve tried clearing all schedules and re-booking but still failures.
Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?
Is the box tuned so that it is only receiving from a single transmitter?

InactiveNot deliberately, but we do get weak hannington signal picking up SD bbc1 & itv. However
I don’t think tuning has changed
Problem occurs on HD channels from Crystal Palace only.

InactiveSorry, just to be clear, we only get HD from CP.
I think I’m not sure if problem has happened on SD channels as most recordings are on HD. Only seems to happen on series record, but it can fail one episode then record the next.

What channel numbers are the extra SD channels allocated ?

InactiveBbc1 south on 810
Itv1 south on 834
I think I didn’t keep the other hannington extras.
Just checked and on the series recordings I’ve kept, the failures start on 14th Jan (but I had been clearing them out from some series)

Have you tried deleting them ?

InactiveI can delete the failed recordings OK.
I’ve deleted all the scheduled series recordings and re-added them with mixed results. Two series have recorded and one failed.
The confusing part is that the failures seem random. One episode will fail then the next be OK.
Unless anyone has a better idea, I think we’ll just manage for this week and see if a pattern emerges.

I think you misunderstand, Graham was (I think) suggesting that you delete the channels from the incorrect multiplexes. A better idea might be to manually tune using the instructions at Link tomanual tuning FAQ

Correct

As the other transmitter channels were in the 800’s simply deleting them may fix the issue. I wonder if it’s the SD – HD link having two BBC 1 SD is causing the problem. Like the poster who found deleting BBC 1 HD stopped SD recordings being made.
