Your machine has got excellent taste (unlike its owner) and is simply saving you from a fate worse than death.

Could it be that unit is tuned to more then one transmitter?
See this post for instructions on how to manually tune unit:

A couple of points; the post is for a 9300T which doesn’t have HD capability. You need to note which multiplex channels are HD and for those multiplexes only change the Transmission type to DVB-T2; others should be DVB-T. I am not sure if the HDR-2000T allows channels to be deleted in the manner described. If not the first step should be to start an automatic search and immediately stop it and save the results.

ModeratorGood points Martin…
Select all function to delete channels:
Menu
Settings
Edit Channels (default password 0000)
Edit Channel List
Then press Blue, highlight select all, press OK then Red to delete all.

InactiveJust coming to terms with my HDR 2000 T. Have had earlier Humax PVrs and no trouble whatsoever. My latest problem is losing a recored program. I recored a program last night and when I came yo watch it a while ago I go the message auto delete!!! or words to that effect. I hastened to my manual and saw that I had to say ‘yes’ to auto delete. Mine was set at ‘NO’ So why did it delete? There were only three short programs on the recorded list.

InactiveI bought my HDR 1000S in March this year and I am having problems with some recorded programs missing their start or end. I have checked the settings and the
Start/end padding times are set to auto.
Also, I am getting the odd program part recorded i.e. eggheads (part recorded – 8 mins only) and today, Tour de France (part recorded 38 mins of 240 mins).
Has any one got any ideas? Thanks

InactiveDoes the HDR 1000s run the same software as the PVR 9200T I wonder? Because the 9200T is notorious for missing the start and finish.

InactiveSoftware is very different.
Errors are unusually traced to broadcaster late/missed changes running status.
