I see that ext3fsd was updated last month to version 0.50. Anyone have any experience with this new version ?
I seem to recall that son_t experienced some problems with disk corruption when using the earlier version.
I have not tried the latest version – if it has only been released a month ago…
But I have downloaded and used it (but not extensively) on a couple of Windows 7 boxes… and it seemed to be less buggy on this platform.
One problem I regularly get is an AWOL ‘L’ drive. For some reason this gets mapped but I never get a drive on it, and subsequently am unable to delete it (ever). With Windows 7, this happened again but uninstalling the program the L drive disappeared with it.
Not sure if disk corruption still happen or not.
