Hello all,
Having been viewing the reviews of the DTR-T1000 (with the view of buying one), I’ve noticed that setting up ‘favorites’ is not an option, (a significant drawback IMHO).
Is it on the cards for a future software update?
Or can you use the ‘channel editing’ method to effectively do the same, by hiding all channels you do not want?
If so, will these hidden channels say hidden after going into stand-by modes etc?
Sorry about the long windedness but having had ‘favorites’ on my last 2 Humax PVRs, I would definitely miss it.

Welcome to the Forum
No idea if favourites will ever be added.
You can hide channels, simply a matter of displaying the guide, pressing yellow to edit channels, highlight channels you want to hide and press OK, then yellow to apply.
Hidden channels remain hidden when going in/out of standby, and are easy enough to restore if needs be.
Unhiding channels is a pain as you have to unhide all the hidden ones then rehide the ones you still don’t want to see.
