    Hi

    I’m sorry if this has been discussed in another thread but I couldn’t find it.

    I do not believe this is a problem with the FVP 4000T but a BBC problem.

    EASTENDERS on BBC1 sometimes doesn’t record although it can be seen live and is programmed correctly to record.

    This week so far Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 it has decided not to record.

    Any suggestions please.

    Welcome to our Forum :-)

    Are you sure that all channels are tuned to the same transmitter?

    I do not normally record the programme, but will set a series timer as a test.

    Hi Barry thanks for your reply and you are probably correct.

    Before I started this thread I was given some duff information. Our transmitter is Midhurst so London is not much use to us.

    I think what happened. While selecting Channel number 0001 BBC1 (South) then mistakenly scrolled up to 0800 BBC1 (London) and selected it. Then one is given the option of HD and it was selected.

    They weren’t using the favourites that I set up? Is it possible to move the favourite to the top of the list instead of TV being at the top?

    As being discussed in https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/hd-alternative-needs-some-work it is confusing one isn’t sure what has happened. I agree with you Barry it is not a bug but needs work on the user interface.

    I think it would help if the left hand side column “Channel number and name” should have more contrast and be more distinct.

    I hadn’t realised that the Humax could sensibly decide when not to waste disk space … it obvioulsy has a fine sense of taste! 8)

    It must be faulty though – why else would it record any Eastenders???

    Every scheduled episode has recorded since I set timer on 16 March.
