Switched my dtr2000 box on this morning and there was no sound. Was able to isolate the problem to the box as tv direct sound working fine. Unplugged and re-plugged box which brought back sound but now everytime you press a button on the remote it makes s very annoying beep.

iirc there is an audio feedback setting in one of the menus, see if that has been switched on with your power cycle.
