Hi, I am connected to the Internet by Ethernet cable/ Router. Can anyone advise if buying the dongle will give me any advantages over my present setup, thanks in anticipation. Acepage
None what so ever, it could only perform less well.
The only possible advantage is that you could locate the box at a position where there is no ethernet connection. Other than that there are absolutely no advantages in performance or reliability, none at all. Direct hardwired ethernet beats wireless on every measurement.
