Only a hard disk format deletes existing recordings. Photograph your recording schedule first. Like the 5000T you will need to re-enter it.
No, I reset mine for the first time last night and all recording were still there.
Can confirm the above. I have done a few resets to sort out issues and have always kept my recordings.
